Displays- One problem that many laptop manufacturers still have not licked is the issue of the display. If you are not that discriminating then it should not be that big of an issue, but if you want the best then you should check the device while it is on the store, closely scrutinize the display.
Warranties- When you buy a device like a laptop it really is tempting to go and get the extended warranty although it is not cheap, but can it really help? Statistics have shown that major crashes where the warranty can be used are quite rare within the first three years of the life of the device and after that it is going to be obsolete anyway and you are due for an upgrade, so no need to bother.
Accessories- You always get the sales person telling you that you can get a package of accessories at a discounted price together with the laptop that you have just bought. What they are not going to tell you is that it is so overpriced that even if they take away half of its price you would still be ridiculous for buying it.
